Q. How far in advance can I prepare the Floating Pearls in the vases with or without the Submersible fairy Lights?
A. You can prepare them up to 7 days before your event with or without the Fairy Lights inside the vases!
Q. What do I need to recreate this look?
A. You will need: The Floating Transparent Gels, which are included with the Floating Packs. The Floating Candle is sold separately. Glass vases are not included; we recommend: https://cysexcel.com/glass-vase-wholesale/cylinder-vase-wholesale. The Submersible LED Fairy Lights are an optional add-on in the drop-down menu.
Q. How long do the Floating Pearls stay afloat?
A. The Floating Pearls centerpieces will last for weeks and are reusable. (Hydrated Gels must be stored in water and covered; The pearls can be dried.
Q. How do I hydrate the Transparent Gels?
A. Measured Prep/Storage Bags with an instruction sheet are included with your order. Also, see our Video Tutorial in the menu above.
Q. Can I prepare the water gels in advance?
A. Yes, you can prepare them months in advance; just store them submerged in water in the tightly sealable prep bags (included with your order)!
Q. Can I leave the hydrated Water Gels without water?
A. Do not leave the hydrated Water Gels without water, because they will not become soft again after adding the water. If you're transporting the centerpieces, fill the vases halfway with water and cover them.
Q. How do I store the hydrated Water Gels for reuse?
A. Store the hydrated gels in the prep/storage bags included with your order, after rinsing them, adding fresh water to the bag, so the Gels are submerged! Do not dehydrate, they will get spoiled : (
Q. Why are my pearls not floating?
A. Pearls do not float in water. You need the Transparent Gels to float them. If you already prepared them according to the instructions included with your order, then you most probably added more than 1/2" of water over the last layer of the Transparent Gels in your vase!
Q. Can I transfer the Floating Pearls in the vases after I prepare them?
A. Do not add water to the vases; seal the opening well with thin plastic wrap. The floating centerpieces can be without water for about 7 hours!
Q. Do the Transparent Gels solidify or dissolve?
A. The Transparent Gels do not solidify or dissolve. They expand and hold a lot of water while hydrating. They will last for several years if stored well.
Q. How many Pearls and Transparent Gels do I need for my vases?
A. A Floating 50 to 75 pc Pack will fill 1 gallon of the Transparent Floating Gels for your vases, or a Floating 100pc Pack will fill 2 gallons for your vases. 1-gallon example: 3 vases (10" x 4"), or a set of 3 vases (12", 10", 7" x 4").
Q. Can I use Submersible Tea Lights or Fairy Lights with the Transparent Water Gels inside my vase?
A. The Transparent Water Gels will still look transparent!
Q. How do I dispose of the Gels?
A. If you have no use for the Transparent Gels, you can dispose of them in the trash or outdoor greenery as a good source of water for plants.

Q. Where are you located?
A: We are located on the north side of Chicago. An appointment is needed for studio visits and pick-ups. Hours: 10:00 am to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, Central Time.
Q. I have a tax-exempt number; how do I avoid getting charged for sales tax?
A. Before placing your order, email us your tax-exempt number, and we will register you as a tax-exempt organization, so that you will not be charged sales tax or get a refund.
